Scientists speak in podcast on the health benefits of tackling climate change
18 Dec 2009 Comments (0)A podcast from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine features interviews with Andy Haines, Paul Wilkinson, James Woodcock and Alan Dangour from the School, and Anil Markandya from the Basque Centre for Climate Change in Bilbao, Spain. All of the researchers contributed to the recent special issue of the Lancet which examined the consequences to human health of mitigating the effects of greenhouse gas emissions.
In the interview the researchers argue that large positive effects on human health are possible over the next few decades if we choose the right strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
