TB research priorities: what’s your view?
Comments (0)The Stop TB Partnership is carrying out a far-reaching consultation in order to identify the top priorities for future TB research. The aim is to secure the views of as many people as possible from the “TB community”, using an open, web-based approach.
Stop TB says, “Research topics differ widely in their immediate and future importance for improved TB control, but all contribute to the spectrum of research that needs to be vigorously stimulated”. Participants in the consultation are asked to “provide feedback on the relevance of the TB research and to comment on the research topics that are of highest priority”.
The consultation is being conducted by Stop TB’s Research Movement. Participation requires registration on the survey website: http://www.stoptb.org/global/research/s1/
The website also provides background information on TB research: the need for research, areas and agendas for research and forthcoming events. There is also a regular “Publication of the month” feature.
